What this site is
celeros.online publishes plain-English explainers about games that are free to start playing. We try to describe how a game actually works — its systems, its costs and its rough edges — rather than repeat a press release.
The site is small and deliberately so. It is written by one named editor, published by a registered company whose details appear at the foot of every page, and funded by partner links rather than by advertising networks. There is no advertising technology on this site at all: no cookies, no analytics, no pixels, no third-party scripts of any kind.
Who writes here
Liam Johnson — responsible editor
Liam is the named director of publication for celeros.online and writes or approves everything published on it. Every article carries his byline and a publication date, and he is the person who answers correction requests sent to info@celeros.online. He is also the person legally responsible for the content under Czech and EU information-society rules.
There is no anonymous content on this site, no syndicated filler and no AI-generated copy published without a human editor taking responsibility for it.
How we work
- We play the game before writing about it, and we say so when a claim comes from the client rather than from a published source.
- We cite primary sources — the developer, the publisher, the official site — in preference to aggregators.
- We hedge what we cannot verify instead of guessing, and we would rather say “this changes between updates” than print a number that will be wrong next month.
- We correct errors in public, dated, on the page where the error appeared.
The full version of this, including what we refuse to publish, is in our editorial policy.
How we are funded
Partner links, and nothing else. If you follow one and go on to sign up or play, the partner may pay us a commission out of their own budget. You are never charged extra, and no advertiser gets to see, approve or change an article before it is published. Every commercial link on this site is visibly labelled “Partner link”, carries rel="sponsored nofollow noopener", and sits under a disclosure notice.
The details are in the advertising disclosure.
What we do not do
- We do not set cookies or run analytics. We cannot build a profile of you because we never collect anything to build one from.
- We do not load fonts, images, scripts or stylesheets from third parties, so visiting this site does not expose you to anyone else’s infrastructure.
- We do not publish invented testimonials, invented star ratings or manufactured urgency.
- We do not use product screenshots or publisher artwork. Every image on this site is an original SVG drawn in-house.
Who publishes it
celeros.online is published by DSP DŘEVO s.r.o. The full identification — registered address, company number and VAT number — is in the legal notice and repeated in the footer of every page.
Get in touch
Corrections, questions and rights enquiries all go to the same address: info@celeros.online. There is no contact form on this site, deliberately — a form would collect data, and we have promised not to. See the contact page.
